Brainy Bar Bank

Upon request, you may receive a full refund of your Brainy Bar Bank payment within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, your Brainy Bar Bank tuition is non-refundable.

Practice of the Week (POW) MBE Workshop

Upon request, you may receive a full refund of your POW payment within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, your POW tuition is non-refundable.

RAMP (Rule Acquisition and Mastery Platform)

Upon request, you may receive a full refund of your RAMP payment within 7 days of purchase. This applies to all RAMP tiers. After 7 days, your RAMP tuition is non-refundable.

Self-Study Program

Because the Self-Study Program involves tutor feedback and the Smart Bar Prep Outlines, your refund options are more limited. Upon request, you may receive a partial refund within 7 days of purchase, unless you submit your questionnaire for feedback in less than 7 days. In this case, your refund option terminates when your questionnaire is submitted for feedback. For example, if you submit your questionnaire for feedback on the third day after purchase, you may no longer request a refund, even though you are within the 7-day refund timeframe. After 7 days, or once the questionnaire for a custom study schedule has been submitted (whichever is sooner), the add-on cost for a custom study schedule is non refundable.

The Smart Bar Prep portion of your Self-Study Program tuition is NOT refundable, because it involves downloadable material from an outside vendor. If you request a refund for Self-Study, your refund will be reduced by $149. (If you opted to purchase the Smart Bar Prep FYLSE outlines as part of the FYLSE Self-Study package, this portion is non-refundable once activated.)

Writing of the Week (WOW) Bar Essay Workshops

Upon request, you may receive a full refund of your WOW tuition within 14 days of purchase. After 14 days, your WOW tuition is non-refundable.

Full Tutoring Packages

When you purchase a full tutoring package (calls, feedback, and additional materials), you’re getting a reduced rate (relative to hourly tutoring pricing) and your tutor is committing to work with you for the entire bar season.

Consequently, your refund options are limited! Please read the following carefully, and let us know if you have any questions.

• Before you start the first tutoring session, you may cancel for a full refund (minus certain fees listed below as applicable), provided the request is made within 365 days of purchase. (After 365 days, your full tuition becomes non-refundable.)
• After you complete the first tutoring session, but before you start the second session or receive any additional written feedback, you may cancel and receive a full refund (minus the fees listed below).
• The reductions in refunds are as follows (as applicable to your package):
  BarEssays: $175
  Smart Bar Prep: $149
  Writing of the Week/Brainy Bar Bank access (if you cancel more than 14 days after purchasing): $285
  Practice of the Week access (if you cancel more than 14 days after purchasing): $149
  Study Schedule (if your custom Asana project has been created for you): $200
• After you start the second tutoring session, or receive additional written feedback after the first session, your tuition is non-refundable.
• Unused call time and feedback from your package does not expire and can be applied to a future bar exam as needed.
• Tutoring packages are non-assignable, without our express permission.

Hourly Tutoring Packages

When you purchase a hourly tutoring package, you’re getting a reduced rate relative to add-on hours.

Consequently, your refund options are limited! Please read the following carefully, and let us know if you have any questions.

• Before you start the first session (call or feedback) in a Multi-Pack (5-Pack, 10-Pack, or 20-Pack), you may cancel for a full refund, provided the request is made within 90 days of purchase. (90 days after purchase, your full tuition becomes non-refundable but the hours do not expire and you can continue to use them indefinitely.)
• After you complete the first session (call or feedback) of a Multi-Pack, but before you start the second session, you may cancel and receive a prorated refund, provided the request is made within 90 days of purchase. (90 days after purchase, your full tuition becomes non-refundable but the hours do not expire and you can continue to use them indefinitely.)
• After you start the second session (call or feedback) of a Multi-Pack, your tuition is non-refundable but the hours do not expire and you can continue to use them indefinitely.
• Hourly tutoring packages are non-assignable, without our express permission.

Add-On Hourly Tutoring

Add-On Hourly tutoring will be sold on a case-by-case basis, at our sole discretion.

• Add-On Hourly tutoring fees are non-refundable but the hours do not expire and you can continue to use them indefinitely.

All refunds requested within six months will be issued to the original form of payment, as feasible. After that, we will have to issue a paper check.
